We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, including legal, accounting, and operational requirements. Donation records may be retained longer where required by law.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
Our website is built and hosted using the Nucleus platform. Nucleus does not use traditional browser cookies for core site functionality. However, we do use third-party technologies that may collect information automatically when you visit our website.
A. Google Analytics (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our website, including pages viewed, general location (derived from IP address), device type, browser information, and engagement patterns.
GA4 does not rely solely on traditional cookies and may use a combination of technologies, including first-party identifiers and event-based data collection, in accordance with Google’s privacy practices.
We do not provide an on-site mechanism to disable Google Analytics tracking. Users who wish to limit or block analytics tracking may do so through browser settings, browser extensions, device-level controls, or network-level tools (such as VPNs or privacy-focused browsers).
B. Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Pixel
We may use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of advertising and outreach efforts and to support retargeting campaigns. This technology may collect information such as page views, interactions, device identifiers, and browser data and associate that information with a Meta account where applicable.
Meta Pixel tracking is governed by Meta’s own data practices. We do not provide a site-level opt-out or cookie consent banner to disable Meta Pixel tracking. Users who wish to limit or block such tracking must do so through Meta account settings, browser controls, or other device-level privacy tools.
C. Cookies and Similar Technologies
To the extent that Google Analytics or Meta Pixel use technologies that may be classified as “cookies” or similar identifiers under certain laws, those technologies are implemented by the respective third parties and are not directly controlled by Resonance Church.
We do not currently use a cookie consent banner or preference management tool. Continued use of the website constitutes consent to the operation of these technologies as described in this Privacy Policy.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices and Rights
A. Communications
You may opt out of promotional emails or text messages at any time by using unsubscribe links, replying with applicable opt-out keywords to SMS messages, or contacting us directly. Transactional or service-related communications may still be sent as necessary.
B. Privacy Requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain uses of your personal information. While some privacy laws may not formally apply to nonprofit organizations, Resonance Church will make reasonable efforts to honor privacy requests where practicable.
C. Analytics and Advertising Controls
Resonance Church does not currently provide a site-based preference center or consent management tool to disable analytics or advertising technologies. Users who wish to limit or block such tracking must do so through browser settings, device-level controls, network-level tools, or applicable third-party platform settings.
